Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Configuration Executive with 2+ years of experience who has good knowledge
of application configuration, QA/testing processes, and basic database concepts. The candidate should be
an individual contributor, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Configure application modules based on client or project requirements.
• Understand functional requirements and convert them into proper system configurations.
• Perform basic testing after configuration to ensure the application is working as expected.
• Support QA activities such as test case execution, defect identification, and validation.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, QA team, and Project Managers for requirement
clarity.
• Maintain proper documentation of configuration changes, test results, and issue logs.
• Troubleshoot configuration-related issues and provide timely resolution.
• Work independently as an individual contributor and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Validate workflows, user roles, permissions, forms, fields, and business rules.
• Support UAT and production deployment activities whenever required.
• Identify process gaps and proactively suggest improvements.
• Work with databases for data verification, basic queries, and issue analysis.
Required Skills
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in application configuration or implementation support.
• Basic QA knowledge, including test cases, defect tracking, retesting, and regression testing.
• Good understanding of database concepts.
• Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries.
• Knowledge of workflow configuration, user role setup, access control, and master data
configuration.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks on time.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in BPM, DMS, workflow automation, ERP, CRM, or enterprise software platforms.
• Knowledge of tools like Jira, Excel, SQL, Postman, or any defect tracking tool.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology.
• Experience in client support or implementation projects will be an added advantage.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any related field.
The ideal candidate should be a self-driven individual contributor who can understand requirements,
configure the system, test the output, identify issues, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver quality
results.
